Summary:

A client account that is created by a partner account will be automatically linked to the partner account regardless of the method created. A partner account can create a client account through two different methods, with one of the methods only being available if the partner is a on a Paid Plan that includes subscription seats.

One method includes creating a client account with the option of it being paid (but by the client) or free and having the account linked to the partner account, or the second option being a created account on a Paid Plan that is added a seat to a partner subscription (the partner is taking on the financial payment rather than the client).

Usage:

To create a client account by using a partner account the user needs to click ‘Create Account.’ A new modal will display which gives the user the option to choose which method the client account will be created through. The ‘Add Client To My Subscription’ method will only be available for partner accounts on a Paid Plan. If this above method is selected, the user can choose whether to create a new client account to add to the subscription or transfer an existing client who is already linked to the partner account (regardless of their current Plan type) onto the partner account’s subscription.

If the user chooses to add a new client onto their subscription, they will be prompted to select a type of Paid Plan for the client account and then be prompted to input all of the information required for a regular client account registration. The partner will also be shown a modal which informs them how many seats their account has left open to fill (X/10).

If the partner chooses to transfer an existing client to their subscription, the user would have to select any currently linked client account from their account list and transfer the account.

If the partner chooses the ‘Client Responsibility’ option, the user can choose which plan the new client account will be on (Free or Paid) and continue the rest of the sign-up process which is the same as the previously mentioned method above. The difference is that if the client account will be on a Paid Plan, the client will be paying for the plan and not have it covered by the partner’s subscription.
