Summary:

Paid Plans for a partner account have by default ten ‘seats’ integrated into their paid subscription. These seats allow a client account to ‘fill’ a spot which gives the client account the ability to be on a Paid Plan but with the cost being covered by the partner’s Plan.

If a client is added as a seat in which the partner is already at their maximum ten seats, the added client’s $50 a month plan cost will be added to the monthly amount of the partner (i.e., for each additional client seat the partner adds, they incur another $50 on their monthly bill). This gives partner accounts the option to either just be linked to a client account (i.e., not financially taking responsibility for the client’s paid plan OR the client is on a Free plan) or to have a client account on their subscription seat.

Being linked to a partner through either method allows the partner to switch into, and help manage, the client account.

Usage:

Giving partner’s the ability to take on financial responsibility for their client’s accounts should they so choose to. The partner is then able to work the monthly fee into their own fee schedule with the client as they see fit.
