Summary:

Unlike the document vault in client accounts, the partner document vault gives the partner an ability to upload documents to not only their own account, but to any of their client’s accounts. The option to hide the document from being viewed by users on the client’s account is another option that is available.

Usage:

To link an uploaded document to a client account, the initial process of uploading a document remains the same as on a client account, for more information on this please refer to the Uploading a Document section of this ReadMe document.

There is an option on the ‘New Document’ modal for partner accounts that provides a drop-down menu which will allow the partner to choose a client account they are connected with, to link the document to. Below this line on the modal there is a checkbox that can be checked off if the document should be hidden from the client account’s users, and only be seen by the partner.

It’s especially important for the partner to know that however they have the document titled and displayed in their partner account, is the same way it will display in the client’s account if they choose to share it.
