Summary:

Hope Trust provides free courses and six continuing education credits for licensed insurance professionals which are under the ‘Training’ section of partner accounts. The courses provided include ‘Financial Planning,’ ‘Estate Planning,’ and ‘Case Reviews.’ Each course is a video and has a quiz that accompanies each one.

For partners that are not licensed insurance professionals (this is determined by a partner account’s type) the quizzes that accompany each course can be taken but the final exam cannot be accessed.

For licensed insurance professionals, the final exam can be taken, and once passed the continuing education credits will be submitted by Hope Trust to the insurance professionals licensed state. Insurance partner types are required to take the final exam before they are given their referral code which will allow that partner to add client account to their partner account.

Hope Trust employees will submit the partner’s passing final exam score to their resident state so they can receive the credits; however, it is important to note that Hope Trust does not have approval in all 50 states as of today. Currently, we are not approved in NY, MN, and WI, along with Puerto Rico. Unfortunately, if a licensed insurance professional’s resident state is one of them, they are not eligible for the CE credits at this time.

Usage:

For all partner types the training videos can be watched by clicking on ‘Watch Video’ under each video’s title. A modal will display with the video and once finished, the modal can be closed. Each course also provides the partners with Supplemental Training Materials and Documents, which they can click on and save to their device or print for their records.

Under each course there is a ‘Start Exam’ button that can be clicked to bring up each courses quiz. Before starting each quiz, the partner needs to confirm their first and last name, and email address, then click ‘Start.’

For insurance partner types, once all three quizzes have been passed, the final exam will appear, and the process to start the final exam is the same as the quiz. However, the partner will need to input their resident state, National Producer Number (NPN), and Resident State License Number. All quizzes and the final exam need to be passed with at least a 70% to be considered passing.
